Stymied.
This weekend, a bust. I tackled two problems, and they tackled me right back. My brake lights aren't workin so I bought a volt meter to try and find out why. Well, somewhere between the fuse box and the lightbulbs there's a break in the electricity. Do I know where? Nope, can't seem to find a diagram that tells me where the wires I need to find are! Well, I've once again posted to the trusty newsgroup and we'll see what they have to say.
The other situation is a terribly squeaky wheel (rear, driver's side) that sounds awful when I roll to a stop. It's not the brakes, but it's amplified when I apply the brakes. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's the CV joints. It's an uneducated sneaking suspicion, but I think I'm on to something. Well, the CV joints take a bit of time and I didn't have it this weekend. I may muster up some confidence and see what happens next weekend. Until then...squeak, squeak, squeak.
